Nothing about who we are has changed. We are the same community, the same families, and the same board and volunteers who have proudly served our Patidar samaj in Chicago. Your membership and your place in our family remain exactly as they have always been.

Why “Chha Gam”?

“Chha Gam” and “Six Gam” mean the very same thing — our six ancestral villages. “Chha” is simply the Gujarati word for “six.” We have embraced the name in our mother tongue, the way our elders have always spoken it. Our six gams — Bhadran, Karamsad, Nadiad, Vaso, Sojitra, and Dharmaj — remain at the very heart of who we are.
